Frequently asked questions.

How do we know when you are on your way?

We can communicate by text when we are one stop away, if we are doing multiple properties within the same route, especially on aeration and fertilizer scheduled days. We will always make sure you are aware before we arrive with a friendly text reminder the day before services.

When do you usually start my lawn care job?

We usually have a start-time window of 8:00-9:00 am and always arrive before or on time. We understand everyone has a schedule to keep, and we respect that.

Do I need to be present at my property?

We don't always require you to be home. We can service your property with your permission, as long as the gate is unlocked. The only time we recommend you at home is during a spring or fall Clean-up so we can do an initial walk through before we start, to make sure your needs are met.

What payment methods do you accept? And how does your payment policy work?

We just kindly ask for the payment after the service is completed. We will always communicate with you by text that the job is completed and provide you with a Venmo link same day of service, if that's your preferred payment method. We accept Venmo, Zelle, Cash, and Check.

Do you offer a weekly, bi-weekly or one-time mow service?

We changed our policy recently, only accepting weekly mowing at the moment. We do accept one-time mows, as long as you are within our service area. We service Severance, Windsor, Timnath, Eaton, Pierce, and Greenly.

How do I control the weeds in my rock bed and concrete area?

We offer a service for weed control. We can service you weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the severity of the weeds in your yard. It is very convenient for most of our clients that have a weekly mowing package we service you one the very same day. It also helps keep your yard looking great all year around.

What's the best fertilizer for my lawn?

We highly recommend our commercial fertilizer we get from our supplier. We have been asked questions about Scotts Fertilizer in our honest opinion, it is a weak fertilizer, and if not used properly, it will ruin your grass.

Our commercial fertilizer allows more of a precise blending of nutrients and a higher percentage 30-50% (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc.) and slow-release formulations to meet specific lawn needs and conditions.

Will you still service my property for weekly mow or any other services if the weather is bad?

Depending on the severity of the weather conditions, We will still service your property on light rain days. On heavy snow days, on most occasions we have to cancel. We will always keep you posted, and reschedule for the weekend, or the following week depending on the weather and our schedule.

What's the ideal height for my grass on weekly mowing?

We try our best to maintain a consistent mowing height depending on the type of grass you have to promote healthy growth. We also adjust your mowing height based on the weather conditions to help the grass survive. In Colorado the most common grass is Kentucky bluegrass, Blue Grama, Tall Fescue, Bouteloua Dactyloides.

How often should I trim my shrubs/trees?

We recommend a spring and fall clean-up. It is very important in the weather months of Colorado, it removes dead or diseased branches, shapes the plants for better growth, and improves overall health and aesthetics, preparing them for the upcoming season. It is more cost efficient when done twice a year, and helps keep everything maintained for the spring and summer months.

What's the best lawn mower for my yard?

We use professional commercial equipment. Depending on your gate size, we will use the appropriate equipment to better fit your lawn size. We have a professional stand-on 36 inch deck that creates lawn strips which will get the attention of your neighbors!

We also mow in two different directions each week in rotation. Our mowing package includes, Mowing, Weed Whacking, Blowing off Decks & Driveway & Edging(when needed.)

How do you determine prices on my quote?

We strive to keep our prices competitive and fair. We are able to do that since we are a small family based business and we don't have a large overhead like much larger companies do. We try our best to be honest and up-front.

Our prices are based on square footage of your lawn. We use lawn care software that is very precise and it also shares google maps and allows us to measure the square footage of your lawn, then we follow up with your prices.

Why is the lawn aeration so important?

Lawn Aeration is so crucial in Colorado with the state's clay-rich soils, as it helps alleviate compaction, promotes better water and nutrient absorption, and encourages stronger root growth, leading to healthier, more resilient lawn. You can expect plugs between 2-3 inches when the soil is moist.

What about my pets?

We appreciate you letting us know if you have any pets. We are dog friendly and will always respect your home while on the property. We just kindly ask please to pick up all pet waste, toys, bones, before your day of service. If anything is hit by a mower, objects like these are hazardous to us, it also causes a mess to our equipment while trying to clean. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you have any senior or referral discounts?

We do offer our customers a discount if you refer a neighbor, family member or friend. Please let us know of a neighbor, family member or friend that would like to schedule a service and we’ll happily give you a discount. We also give bundle discounts for neighbors that book together on Aeration, and Fertilizer days.
